Overview

SYN125 is a humanized IgG4 monoclonal antibody that targets and binds to the programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) receptor with high specificity and affinity. By inhibiting PD-1 and its downstream signaling pathways, SYN125 restores immune function through activation of T cells and T-cell-mediated immune responses against tumor cells. It is being developed primarily for the treatment of solid tumors and carcinomas. The drug is administered intravenously and has reached Phase 1 clinical trials in oncology indications.
