Overview

Syndrema is a nutraceutical supplement developed by Ghimas S.p.A., specifically formulated to manage metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, and hyperglycemia. It contains a synergistic blend of alpha-lipoic acid, cinnamon extract (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), chromium picolinate, and biotin. Alpha-lipoic acid serves as a powerful antioxidant and a vital cofactor for mitochondrial enzymes like the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, enhancing energy metabolism. Cinnamon extract and chromium picolinate work to improve insulin sensitivity and glucose uptake by modulating insulin receptor signaling and potentially inhibiting alpha-glucosidase activity. Biotin further supports macronutrient metabolism. This combination is intended to help stabilize blood sugar levels and reduce oxidative stress associated with metabolic disorders.
