SynOss

SynOss is a synthetic bone grafting material developed by Collagen Matrix, primarily used in dental and orthopedic procedures to repair or reconstruct bony and periodontal defects. It is a calcium phosphate-based osteoconductive material with an apatite structure that mimics human bone, providing a scaffold for new bone formation. SynOss is available in multiple forms, including granules and a putty formulation, the latter being a mineral-collagen composite that becomes moldable upon hydration. It is indicated for clinical applications such as filling extraction sockets, alveolar ridge augmentation, and maxillary sinus floor elevation.
