Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Synovex One Feedlot is a veterinary growth-promoting implant developed by Zoetis for use in beef cattle. It is a combination product containing 200 mg of trenbolone acetate, a synthetic anabolic steroid, and 28 mg of estradiol benzoate, an estrogenic hormone. The product is formulated as an extended-release subcutaneous implant consisting of eight pellets coated with a porous polymer film, which facilitates a sustained release of the active ingredients for up to 200 days. It is specifically indicated for increasing the rate of weight gain and improving feed efficiency in growing beef steers and heifers fed in confinement for slaughter. Administered via subcutaneous implantation in the middle third of the ear, it received FDA approval on July 31, 2014.
