Overview

SYP-2137 is a preclinical mRNA-based therapeutic candidate being developed by Samyang Holdings Biopharm Group. It utilizes the company's proprietary SENS™ (Stability Enhanced Nano-Shell) delivery platform, which is a nanoparticle-based technology designed to protect mRNA from degradation and facilitate its entry into target cells. SYP-2137 is specifically engineered for lung delivery, with the capability to target both the pulmonary endothelium and the pulmonary epithelium. While the specific therapeutic protein encoded by the mRNA and the primary disease indication are currently undisclosed (TBD), the program represents an application of Samyang's platform for respiratory or systemic conditions that can be addressed via pulmonary administration.
