Overview
SYS6012 is a biosimilar to secukinumab, developed by CSPC Megalith Biopharmaceutial. It is a monoclonal antibody that targets interleukin-17A (IL-17A), a cytokine involved in the inflammatory process underlying several autoimmune diseases. By binding to and inhibiting IL-17A, SYS6012 reduces inflammation and related symptoms. The drug is administered via subcutaneous injection and has been evaluated for pharmacokinetic similarity, safety, and immunogenicity compared to the original secukinumab product.
