Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SYS6040 is a **monoclonal antibody-drug conjugate (ADC)** developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It is engineered to bind to specific tumor cell surface receptors, with current evidence supporting Delta-like protein 3 (DLL3) as a primary target. Upon binding, SYS6040 enters the cancer cell via endocytosis and releases its cytotoxic payload intracellularly, leading to targeted tumor cell death. Preclinical studies have shown potent anti-tumor effects across a variety of cancer types, including small cell lung cancer and other solid tumors. The drug is currently undergoing its first-in-human, multicenter Phase I clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy[1][3][4][5][9].
