Drug intelligence / Profile preview
SYS6041 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by CSPC Megalith Biopharmaceutical (a subsidiary of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group) that targets Nectin-4 (Poliovirus receptor-related protein 4). Nectin-4 is a cell surface adhesion molecule that is significantly overexpressed in various solid tumors, including urothelial, breast, lung, and ovarian cancers, while having limited expression in normal tissues. The ADC is composed of a humanized monoclonal antibody specific for Nectin-4, conjugated to a cytotoxic payload via a linker. Upon binding to the target antigen, the complex is internalized into the cancer cell, where the payload is released to induce apoptosis. SYS6041 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of advanced solid tumors, aiming to provide a targeted therapeutic option for patients with Nectin-4-expressing malignancies.
