Overview

SYS6055 is an innovative *in vivo* chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy being developed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory aggressive B-cell lymphoma. Developed by CSPC Pharmaceutical Group and its subsidiary Beijing Kangchuanglian Biopharmaceutical Technology Research, SYS6055 represents a significant advancement over traditional *ex vivo* CAR-T therapies. Instead of extracting, modifying, and reinfusing a patient's T cells, SYS6055 is designed to genetically reprogram T cells directly within the patient's body to express chimeric antigen receptors that target malignant B cells. In January 2026, it became the first *in vivo* CAR-T therapy to receive Investigational New Drug (IND) clearance from China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), subsequently entering Phase I/II clinical trials to evaluate its safety, tolerability, and preliminary efficacy.
