Systane HYDRATION

Systane HYDRATION is an over-the-counter ophthalmic lubricant eye drop formulated to provide long-lasting relief and hydration for dry, irritated eyes. It is designed for patients with moderate to chronic dry eye symptoms, including those experiencing dryness after LASIK or cataract surgery. The product features HydroBoost Technology—a combination of hydroxypropyl guar (HP-Guar) and sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid)—which enhances moisture retention on the ocular surface and supports corneal healing. The active lubricants are polyethylene glycol 400 and propylene glycol; these ingredients work by stabilizing the tear film and protecting the ocular surface from further irritation. The preservative-free formulation makes it suitable for sensitive eyes and frequent use, including application while wearing soft contact lenses (though it is not a rewetting drop).
