Overview
Systane PRO is an over-the-counter preservative-free lubricant eye drop developed for the temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness of the eye. It is formulated with propylene glycol (0.6%) as its active ingredient and features a triple-action mechanism to hydrate, restore, and protect the ocular surface. The formulation includes hyaluronate for enhanced moisture retention and lipid nanodroplets to help stabilize the tear film and reduce evaporation. It is suitable for all major types of dry eye, including those with sensitive eyes or contact lens wearers (though it is not a rewetting drop).
