Overview

TWP-101 (sytalizumab) is a fully humanized agonistic anti-CD137 monoclonal IgG4 antibody developed for cancer immunotherapy. It targets a novel epitope of CD137 (also known as 4-1BB or TNFRSF9), acting as a CD137 agonist but not as a CD137 ligand antagonist. By stimulating CD137, TWP-101 serves as a potent co-stimulator of both adaptive and innate immune cells, enhancing antitumor immune responses. The drug is being evaluated in phase I clinical trials for advanced solid tumors, including melanoma and urothelial carcinoma[1][2][3].
