Overview

T-AXL-IRDye800CW is an AXL-targeted near-infrared-II (NIR-II) fluorescent probe developed for the non-invasive diagnosis and precision surgical navigation of colorectal cancer (CRC). It is constructed by conjugating the near-infrared fluorescent dye IRDye800CW to an AXL-specific antibody. The probe specifically binds to AXL, a transmembrane receptor overexpressed in colorectal cancer that is associated with tumor invasion and metastasis. In preclinical models, T-AXL-IRDye800CW demonstrates high tumor specificity and affinity, enabling the visualization of primary tumors and small mesenteric metastases (< 1 mm) under NIR-II imaging guidance.
