Overview

t-TUCB is a preclinical **small-molecule soluble epoxide hydrolase inhibitor** developed and used as a pharmacologic tool candidate in inflammatory disease models. It inhibits soluble epoxide hydrolase, an enzyme that degrades endogenous epoxy fatty acids such as epoxyeicosatrienoic acids, thereby increasing anti-inflammatory and tissue-protective lipid mediators. In the provided in vivo COPD model, t-TUCB reduced tobacco smoke-induced neutrophilic lung inflammation, suppressed interferon gamma, improved lung function parameters, and attenuated emphysematous airspace enlargement in rats, supporting potential therapeutic relevance in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; however, no approved product, brand name, or clear clinical-stage commercial developer is established from the provided evidence.
