Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**T-V7** is a 7-day oral *Helicobacter pylori* eradication regimen evaluated in the National Taiwan University Hospital multicenter randomized pilot trial NCT04713670. It combines the potassium-competitive acid blocker vonoprazan with clarithromycin-XL and amoxicillin. Vonoprazan provides potent gastric acid suppression through reversible, potassium-competitive inhibition of gastric hydrogen-potassium ATPase, while clarithromycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis and amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell-wall synthesis. T-V7 is a protocol-defined co-administration regimen rather than a distinct marketed fixed-dose product. ([clinicaltrials.gov](https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT04713670))
