Drug intelligence / Profile preview
T10C10 is a balanced medical cannabis formulation containing approximately 10% delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 10% cannabidiol (CBD). Capsoil Technologies has developed a novel water-soluble, self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system (SNEDDS) formulation of T10C10, known as THC/CBD-SE Powder. This formulation converts lipophilic cannabis oil into a water-soluble dry powder using a multi-step process of pre-emulsification, high-pressure nano-emulsification, and freeze-drying with a sugar matrix. In clinical studies, the self-emulsifying powder formulation demonstrated significantly enhanced bioavailability and faster absorption of both THC and CBD compared to traditional oil-based drops, offering a more efficient oral delivery method for medical cannabis.
