Drug intelligence / Profile preview
T4030 is Laboratoires Théa's preservative-free, fixed-dose ophthalmic gel formulation of **bimatoprost 0.01% + timolol 0.1%**; the specific low-dose formulation is also designated T4030a. Bimatoprost is a prostamide/prostaglandin analog that lowers intraocular pressure by increasing aqueous-humor outflow through trabecular and uveoscleral pathways, while timolol is a nonselective beta-adrenergic receptor antagonist that reduces aqueous-humor production. T4030 was evaluated in randomized Phase II and Phase III studies in adults with primary open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension against preservative-free Ganfort UD, containing bimatoprost 0.03% + timolol 0.5%.
