Overview

TAA-sT is an experimental adoptive T-cell therapy developed by researchers at Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. The therapy involves the ex vivo expansion of T cells that are specifically primed to recognize a panel of five tumor-associated antigens (TAAs): Wilms tumor protein (WT1), Survivin (BIRC5), PRAME, MAGE-A3, and NY-ESO-1. These antigens are frequently overexpressed in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) but have limited expression in normal tissues. By targeting multiple antigens simultaneously, TAA-sT aims to provide a robust and polyvalent immune response, reducing the likelihood of tumor escape through antigen loss and addressing the inherent heterogeneity of advanced lung tumors. The product is administered via intravenous infusion to patients with advanced or metastatic NSCLC.
