TAA06 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy that targets B7-H3 (CD276), an immunoregulatory protein highly expressed on the surface of various solid tumors but rarely on normal tissues. The drug consists of patient-derived T lymphocytes genetically modified to express a CAR specific for B7-H3, enabling targeted immunologic cytotoxicity against tumor cells. Developed by PersonGen BioTherapeutics, it is being investigated primarily for the treatment of relapsed or refractory neuroblastoma and other advanced solid tumors. The therapy has received Orphan Drug Designation and Rare Pediatric Disease Designation from the US FDA for neuroblastoma[1][3][5][6].
