TAB004

TAB004 is a monoclonal antibody developed by OncoTab that specifically targets the tumor-associated form of Mucin 1 (tMUC1). MUC1 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is normally heavily glycosylated and restricted to the apical surface of epithelial cells; however, in many cancers, it becomes hypoglycosylated, loses its apical polarity, and is overexpressed. TAB004 recognizes a specific epitope (SMRPAP) that is exposed only in the tumor-associated form. This antibody serves as the foundational targeting scaffold for OncoTab's pipeline, which includes radiotheranostic agents (such as 111In-DOTA-hTAB004 for imaging and 225Ac-DOTA-hTAB004 for alpha-particle therapy) and T-cell directed therapies (such as the hTAB004-CD3 bispecific antibody). These programs are primarily focused on the treatment and detection of pancreatic cancer and triple-negative breast cancer.
