Overview

TAC01-CD19 is a novel, autologous T cell therapy developed using Triumvira Immunologics' proprietary T cell Antigen Coupler (TAC) technology. This therapy involves extracting a patient's own T cells and genetically engineering them via lentiviral transduction to express the CD19-specific TAC receptor. Upon administration, these modified T cells target and bind to CD19-expressing tumor cells—primarily found in B-cell malignancies such as diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL)—and activate natural TCR-mediated signaling pathways, leading to targeted killing of malignant B-cells. Unlike traditional CAR-T therapies, the TAC platform maintains the natural control mechanisms of the T cell receptor, potentially reducing treatment-associated toxicities like cytokine release syndrome and neurotoxicity while retaining efficacy. The product is being evaluated for relapsed or refractory DLBCL and other CD19-positive B-cell lymphomas[1][2][3][4][5][7].
