TAF-001

TAF-001 is a small molecule aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) modulator developed by Zedman Biopharma (Shanghai Zedman Pharmaceuticals) for the topical treatment of psoriasis vulgaris. AhR is a ligand-activated transcription factor that plays a crucial role in maintaining skin barrier function and regulating immune responses. By modulating AhR activity, TAF-001 aims to reduce inflammation and restore skin homeostasis in patients with plaque psoriasis. It is designed as a non-steroidal topical therapy to provide a safer alternative to corticosteroids. TAF-001 is currently being evaluated in Phase 2 clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, and efficacy in patients with mild-to-moderate psoriasis.
