Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TaiYi is a domestic (Chinese) generic version of ticagrelor, an antiplatelet drug that was approved in China in August 2018. It is indicated for antiplatelet aggregation in patients with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease, particularly those undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention. As a P2Y12 receptor antagonist, TaiYi functions by reversibly inhibiting platelet aggregation, thereby reducing the risk of thrombotic events.
