Overview

Takzema is a proprietary, non-steroidal polyherbal Ayurvedic formulation developed and manufactured by Charak. Available as both a topical ointment and oral tablets, Takzema is indicated for the management of eczema (atopic dermatitis), contact dermatitis, and allergic dermatitis. The formulation contains a synergistic blend of traditional herbs and minerals, including Gandhak Rasayan (purified sulphur), Vang Bhasma (calcined tin), Triphala, Guduchi (*Tinospora cordifolia*), Daruharidra (*Berberis aristata*), Manjishtha (*Rubia cordifolia*), Haridra (*Curcuma longa*), and Neem (*Melia azadirachta*). These components work together to modulate immune and inflammatory responses, suppress pro-inflammatory cytokines, protect keratinocytes, and strengthen the epidermal barrier, thereby alleviating symptoms such as dryness, itching, erythema, and skin irritation.
