Overview

Tamrintamab pamozirine (SC-003) is a pyrrolobenzodiazepine-based antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that targets dipeptidase 3 (DPEP3), a membrane-bound dipeptidase associated with tumor-initiating cells in ovarian cancer. It consists of a humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody conjugated to a cytotoxic pyrrolobenzodiazepine dimer warhead via a plasma-stable linker. Budigalimab (ABBV-181) is a humanized recombinant monoclonal antibody targeting programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1), an immune checkpoint receptor on T-cells, thereby inhibiting PD-1-mediated immunosuppression and enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. The combination was investigated in phase 1 clinical trials for platinum-resistant/refractory ovarian cancer[1][2][6][8].
