Tangshen prescription

Tangshen prescription is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formula developed by the Taizhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the treatment of diabetic kidney disease (DKD) and type 2 diabetes mellitus. The prescription is designed around the concept of "co-management of sugar, kidney, and syndrome," which seeks to integrate Western medical standards for DKD management with TCM macro syndrome differentiation. It is intended for use in non-dialysis patients to improve both clinical symptoms and biochemical markers of disease progression. The formula is currently undergoing clinical evaluation to further elucidate its therapeutic mechanisms and support its broader clinical application.
