It is primarily indicated for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers (DFU). The decoction typically comprises a combination of herbs such as *Astragalus membranaceus*, *Salvia miltiorrhiza*, and *Lonicera japonica*, which work synergistically to improve local blood circulation, reduce inflammatory responses, and promote tissue regeneration. Its mechanism of action involves the modulation of various signaling pathways, including the upregulation of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) to enhance angiogenesis and the regulation of the TGF-β/Smad pathway to facilitate wound healing and reduce fibrosis.
