Taoqi Shengxue Jiaonang is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) preparation classified as a tonic for invigorating qi and blood. It is an enteric-coated capsule primarily indicated for individuals suffering from qi and blood deficiency, spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome, which manifests with symptoms such as sallow complexion, dizziness, and sore waist and knees. It is also used for iron deficiency anemia presenting with these aforementioned symptoms. The drug is composed of several herbal ingredients including Green vitriol, Astragalus, Chinese Angelica, Walnut kernel, Goji berry, and stir-fried Atractylodes macrocephala, working synergistically to address the underlying deficiencies.
