TAR-200 + cetrelimab is an investigational combination therapy for bladder cancer, currently in clinical development. **TAR-200** is a novel intravesical drug delivery system enabling sustained local release of gemcitabine directly into the bladder via minitablets in an osmotic device. **Cetrelimab** is a fully human monoclonal antibody of the IgG4 subclass targeting the programmed cell death receptor-1 (**PD-1**), acting as an immune checkpoint inhibitor. Combined, TAR-200 provides localized chemotherapy while cetrelimab potentiates immune-mediated anti-tumor activity by blocking the PD-1 axis, enhancing T cell responses and reversing immunosuppressive signaling in the tumor microenvironment. The combination is being evaluated for its safety and efficacy in neoadjuvant and non-muscle invasive bladder cancer settings, especially in patients who are ineligible for or refuse platinum-based chemotherapy or radical cystectomy. Both components are developed and investigated by Janssen (Johnson & Johnson)[1][3][5][7].
