Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Taragarestrant (D-0502) is a potent, orally active, and selective estrogen receptor degrader (SERD). It is designed to target and degrade the estrogen receptor (ER), thereby inhibiting ER signaling pathways that drive the growth of ER-positive breast cancer. Taragarestrant has demonstrated strong anti-tumor activity in preclinical models and early-phase clinical trials. The drug is being developed primarily for the treatment of ER-positive, HER2-negative locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer. Clinical studies have shown favorable absorption and safety profiles compared to other oral SERDs[2][4][5][10].
