**TareSphere (NRT6003)** is an investigational Yttrium-90-based radioembolization therapy designed for selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) or transarterial radioembolization (TARE) in patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). It consists of Yttrium-90-loaded microspheres delivered via hepatic artery injection to target liver tumors, emitting beta radiation to induce localized tumor cell death while minimizing exposure to healthy tissue. Developed as a potential alternative to standard therapies like cTACE, it is being evaluated in prospective multicenter phase I trials for safety, antitumoral efficacy, quality-of-life improvements, and Yttrium-90 biodistribution, with assessments including mRECIST-based objective response rates, progression-free survival, and SPECT-CT imaging.[1][9][10]
