Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Target A Bifunctional Degrader is a proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) being developed by Pin Therapeutics in collaboration with GENOPHIN. The drug is designed to treat solid tumors by inducing the targeted protein degradation of an undisclosed protein, referred to as Target A. As a bifunctional degrader, the molecule likely consists of a ligand for the target protein connected via a linker to a ligand for an E3 ubiquitin ligase, facilitating the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of the target. The program is currently in the discovery stage of development.
