Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TAT003 is a preclinical-stage, intratumorally administered multimodal M13 bacteriophage-based nanofilament immunotherapy developed by Tatum Bioscience for the treatment of solid tumors. Designed as an antigen-agnostic in situ cancer vaccine, TAT003 combines three distinct biological functions to orchestrate a comprehensive antitumor immune response. Specifically, it displays anti-PD-L1 single-chain variable fragments (scFvs) to bind and block the PD-L1 immune checkpoint on cancer cells, displays interleukin-2 (IL-2) molecules to stimulate T cells via the IL-2 receptor, and utilizes its intrinsic single-stranded DNA as a TLR9 agonist to activate macrophages and promote tumor antigen presentation. In preclinical models, TAT003 has demonstrated potent, systemic, and durable antitumor activity, including regression of both injected and non-injected distal tumors, and has shown synergy when combined with PD-1 blockade.
