Overview

TauTX is a small molecule modulator designed to target tau protein aggregation. It was developed by Chord Therapeutics, a company focused on rare neurological disorders, and was in Phase 1 development for progressive supranuclear palsy and other tauopathies. Merck KGaA acquired Chord Therapeutics, integrating TauTX into its neurology pipeline to address unmet needs in rare diseases.
