Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TB-001 is an investigational, universal off-the-shelf chimeric antigen receptor-engineered natural killer (CAR-NK) cell therapy being developed by ThinkingBiomed (昕传生物). The therapy is designed to treat a broad range of malignancies, including hematologic tumors like B-cell lymphoma and various solid tumors such as lung, liver, and colorectal cancers. By engineering NK cells with a CAR, the therapy aims to enhance the innate ability of natural killer cells to recognize and destroy cancer cells without the need for patient-specific HLA matching. TB-001 is currently in the early stages of clinical evaluation, specifically undergoing Investigator-Initiated Trials (IIT) in China, and is progressing toward an Investigational New Drug (IND) application.
