TB-200 is an investigational allogeneic natural killer (NK) cell therapy derived from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), developed by Therabest for the treatment of liver cancer. It is designed with genetic modifications to enhance immune evasion and improve persistence within the body. These modifications include the knockout of Beta-2 microglobulin (B2M) and the expression of Human leukocyte antigen G (HLA-G) to improve immune evasion, and the expression of Interleukin-15 receptor (IL-15R) to increase its persistence. The therapy aims to overcome limitations of existing allogeneic immune cell therapies, such as variability in quality from blood donors, instability in gene editing, and high production costs. Therabest is developing TB-200 using its EiNK (Enhanced iPSC-derived NK cell) platform technology and plans to initiate Phase 1 clinical trials in 2026.
