TB-302 is an induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived natural killer (NK) cell therapy engineered with a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting the disialoganglioside GD2. Developed by Therabest using its proprietary EiNK (Enhanced iPSC-derived NK) platform, TB-302 is designed as an "off-the-shelf" immunotherapy for the treatment of glioblastoma. The CAR-NK cells are engineered to specifically recognize GD2, a surface antigen highly expressed on neuroectodermal tumors including glioblastoma, while sparing most normal tissues. Upon binding to GD2-expressing tumor cells, the NK cells are activated to induce targeted cell-mediated cytotoxicity. This approach aims to provide a scalable and standardized alternative to patient-derived cell therapies, overcoming limitations such as donor variability and limited production capacity.
