Overview

TB156S is a preclinical antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by TwinPigBio for the treatment of cancer. It utilizes the company's proprietary ESCLink™ platform to conjugate a HER2-targeting antibody with a small interfering RNA (siRNA) payload. The therapeutic mechanism involves the antibody-mediated delivery of the siRNA into HER2-positive cancer cells, where the siRNA subsequently silences the expression of the cMyc (MYC) oncogene. cMyc is a well-known transcription factor that drives tumor cell proliferation, metabolism, and survival. By targeting both the HER2 receptor for entry and the cMyc pathway for intracellular action, TB156S represents a novel approach to treating HER2-expressing malignancies.
