Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TB511R is a preclinical theranostic peptide-drug conjugate (PDC) developed by TwinPigBio, designed to target the tumor microenvironment. It specifically targets the active form of CD18 (Integrin beta-2) expressed on Tumor-Associated Macrophages (TAMs), particularly M2-type macrophages. Utilizing the TAMpep™ - ESCLink™ platform, TB511R is conjugated to the radioisotope Lutetium-177 (177Lu). This configuration enables a theranostic approach, where the agent can be used for both diagnostic imaging and the delivery of targeted beta-radiation to eliminate immunosuppressive TAMs, thereby enhancing anti-tumor efficacy in various cancers.
