Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TBCI90 is a preclinical cell therapy candidate developed by FibroGenesis (formerly associated with SpinalCyte) for the treatment of cancer-related conditions, including cachexia and brain tumors. The therapy is based on a proprietary platform utilizing human dermal fibroblasts (HDFs). Specifically, TBCI90 employs "stressed" fibroblasts that are engineered to act as an immunotherapy by promoting the maturation of dendritic cells and the expansion of T cell populations. This approach aims to leverage the immunomodulatory and regenerative signaling of fibroblasts to stimulate a robust anti-tumor immune response and address systemic complications like cancer cachexia.
