Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TBD-TL1A is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of tumor necrosis factor-like ligand 1A (TL1A), being developed by Orogen Therapeutics for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), including ulcerative colitis (UC) and Crohn's disease (CD). TL1A is a key cytokine involved in mucosal inflammation and tissue fibrosis. By targeting TL1A, TBD-TL1A aims to inhibit downstream inflammatory pathways and prevent fibrotic remodeling in the gut, offering a potential oral small-molecule alternative to existing biologic therapies.
