Overview

TBD-TNFa is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) being developed by Orogen Therapeutics (also known as OroGen BioSciences). The drug is designed as an oral alternative to biologic TNF inhibitors for the treatment of autoimmune and inflammatory disorders, with a primary focus on rheumatoid arthritis (RA). By targeting and neutralizing TNF-alpha, TBD-TNFa aims to suppress the chronic inflammatory cascade that drives joint destruction and systemic symptoms in RA patients.
