TBDESJS is a Chinese herbal tea formulation developed by researchers at Taipei Veterans General Hospital for the treatment of Sjögren's Syndrome (SJS) and Dry Eye Syndrome (DES). Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles, the tea is formulated to 'Nourish Yin and Moisten Dryness' to alleviate ocular dryness and systemic symptoms. It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials to assess its efficacy in improving ocular dryness and to explore its immunomodulatory effects through proteomic analysis of plasma exosomes.
