TBF demineralized bone matrix (DBM) is a human allograft biologic material developed by TBF Genie Tissulaire, a French biotechnology company and tissue bank. Derived from human allogeneic bone tissue obtained from living donors, the product is processed into powders and fibers for surgical use. It functions as an osteoconductive and osteoinductive scaffold, providing a collagenous matrix and endogenous growth factors (such as bone morphogenetic proteins) that facilitate bone regeneration and repair. It is primarily indicated for maxillofacial reconstruction, dental reconstruction, and oral and maxillofacial surgery to fill bony voids or gaps. The product is authorized by the French National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM) and is administered via surgical implantation.
