TBIOCD-03 is a microbial therapeutic, specifically a live biotherapeutic product (LBP) and psychobiotic, being developed by Taylored Biotherapeutics for the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). As a psychobiotic, it is designed to modulate the gut-brain axis by utilizing specific bacterial strains to influence mental health outcomes. The drug is intended to leverage the bidirectional communication between the gastrointestinal microbiota and the central nervous system to alleviate symptoms of OCD. TBIOCD-03 is currently in preclinical development, with safety and efficacy testing ongoing and Phase I clinical trial protocol development in progress.
