TBX-2400 is an allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) therapy developed by Taiga Biotechnologies to improve engraftment and immune reconstitution in patients undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The product is created by treating donor-derived HSCs (from bone marrow or GCSF-mobilized apheresis) with TBX-4000, a proprietary recombinant MYC protein. This treatment transiently increases intracellular MYC levels, which drives the activation, proliferation, and homing of the stem cells to specialized niches in the bone marrow. TBX-2400 is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelofibrosis. It has received Orphan Drug and Rare Pediatric Disease designations from the FDA, as well as Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product (ATMP) designation from the EMA.
