TBX-3400 is an investigational, cell-based immunotherapy developed by Taiga Biotechnologies. It consists of autologous peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) from the patient, which are treated ex vivo with a recombinant TAT-MYC fusion protein known as TBX-4000. This process transiently alters intracellular MYC levels in immune cells, enabling them to overcome tumor-induced suppressive signals and enhance anti-tumor activity upon reinfusion into the patient. The therapy aims to boost immune response against cancer and potentially certain viral infections by temporarily liberating immune cells from inhibitory mechanisms. Primary indications under investigation include relapsed or refractory metastatic melanoma and other solid tumors resistant to standard therapies[1][2][3][8].
