Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TBX301 is an orally available microbiome-based therapeutic capsule being developed to prevent and mitigate immune checkpoint inhibitor–associated colitis by precisely modulating the gut microbiome in cancer patients receiving immunotherapy.[1][3][9] Developed by Trobix Bio, the agent is designed using a precision microbiome engineering platform to selectively alter bacterial populations and functions linked to treatment-emergent colitis, with the goal of reducing the incidence and severity of gastrointestinal toxicity while preserving antitumor efficacy of checkpoint inhibitors.[1][3][9]
