Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TC-305 is a monoclonal antibody developed by Foundery Biosciences that targets Leukocyte-associated immunoglobulin-like receptor 1 (LAIR-1), also known as CD305. LAIR-1 is an inhibitory receptor expressed on a wide range of immune cells, including T cells, B cells, NK cells, and myeloid cells. It functions as an immune checkpoint by binding to collagen and collagen-like domains in the extracellular matrix, which leads to the suppression of immune cell activation and effector functions. By acting as an antagonist, TC-305 blocks the interaction between LAIR-1 and its collagen ligands, thereby preventing immune exhaustion and enhancing anti-tumor immune responses within the tumor microenvironment. The drug is currently in preclinical development for the treatment of solid tumors.
