Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TCB008 (also known as OmnImmune) is an investigational allogeneic unmodified cell therapy composed of activated and expanded gamma delta (γδ) T cells derived from healthy donors. These CD3+ lymphocytes express the Vγ9Vδ2 T-cell receptor and are expanded ex vivo before being purified and formulated for infusion. The therapy is designed to boost the immune response in patients with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS)/AML by leveraging the innate and adaptive immune properties of γδ T cells, which can distinguish between healthy and diseased tissue. Developed by TC BioPharm, this product is currently under clinical investigation in phase 1b/2 trials for AML/MDS[1][3][5][7].
